I have to disagree with this, only becuase a comment constitutes much more time and thought than a "fav". While one shouldn't demand comments, they hold alot more weight than "favs".

I find that comments can be less then favs for this example is not takeing your time to write a nice comment but one to disagree. IT should be your choice to add comments sometimes they do not even get replied to!

Yes, but if you're a popular deviant and don't have much time to comment then a fav can mean just as much. And you know the person really liked it. And it's stupid to say something really short that everyone else is saying. And I didn't make it for myself, but I still agree with it. It just depends on who you are and how much time you have. It's really not that big of a deal to me.

Well, I really think it depends on the comment.
If it's like "SO KAWAII OMG TTLY KEWL" then I think most people would be better off without it. If the comment actually has time put into it, or isn't just stating the same exact thing as everyone else it's more appreciated. And I mean I do like it when people comment since I can see what exactly they liked about the picture, but it still makes me glad that they took the time to look at the picture.

I have to agree that a fave doesn't mean just as much... in some cases. As in you spend a long time working on something for it to get one comment and several faves. I'm not saying that art that has more effort needs comments, but I think that they're more wanted.

Meh, honestly I don't know what I'm saying by now. xD; Nice stamp anyways, I like the simplicity.
